Stockton, CA, March 1st, 2013 - MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!! Defying Muscular Dystrophy will be hosting its 2nd Annual Mardi Gras Crab Feed on Friday, March 1st, 2013 at the Stockton Ballroom. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for no host cocktails with dinner being served at 7:00 p.m. The organization’s goal is to raise $50,000 for Vecttor Treatment clinical trials (an innovative treatment) in the fight against Muscular Dystrophy. The founder’s family members, Todd Harrison and Dave Gould have been using this treatment the past two years with astonishing results and they feel compelled to make this treatment available for others across the nation.
Currently, there is no cure for Muscular Dystrophy, a genetic and progressive disorder that affects 1 out of 3,500 Americans. However, this new treatment option is proving to have beneficial results in the return of muscle function and the quality of life. Please join Defying Muscular Dystrophy in spreading hope to others affected with M.D. so they too, can have the opportunity to DEFY the odds by helping us raise the necessary funds. You can learn more about Muscular Dystrophy and the how the Vecttor Treatment has made monumental steps forward in the treatment of this disease by visiting our website www.defyingmd.com or liking the Defying Muscular Dystrophy page on Facebook. You will find video diaries of Todd and David’s ongoing progress in both locations.
The Crab Feed’s evening’s festivities will feature entertainment, silent auction, raffles including touch top lap top, flat screen TV and video gaming system, as well as a sit down meal of crab, pasta, bread and salad catered by Seafood Express. Brisket will be available as a substitute for crab!.
