Summer Basketball Camps for Kids

Delta College All-Day

 

Delta College Basketball once again offers its exciting Summer Basketball Camp for Kids! This year’s camps are open to boys and girls, ages 5-14, and are all-day events, 9am - 3pm. The camps will be held June 23-27 and July 7-11. Both camps will take place at Delta’s beautiful Blanchard Gym.


The camp will be run by Lady Mustangs head basketball coach Gina Johnson, who’s Mustangs won this year’s Big 8 Conference and once again made it to the State Final Four. She will be assisted by Tiffany Gibson, who brings eight years of coaching experience to at the summer program.

Coach Johnson is excited about this year’s camps. “You will not want to miss an unbelievable opportunity to take your game to new heights, and have fun while learning.”  Coaches Johnson and Gibson believe skills and fundamentals are the key to personal improvement as a basketball player. “The camp is designed for kids 5-14 years old,” says Johnson. “We have planned what promises to be an unbelievable week of fun, energized by team oriented basketball.”

Basketball won’t be the only activity at this year’s camps. After a full morning sharpening your basketball skills, there will be an exciting afternoon activity. Those activities will feature a variety of different sports, including swimming to cool off. “Each day of camp promises to be filled with exciting games, prizes, and fun activities,” adds Coach Tiffany Gibson.
