New Northbound Ramps in Place on July 1

I-5/French Camp Road Interchange Reconstruction

New northbound on-ramps from eastbound and westbound French Camp Road to northbound Interstate 5 have been completed. Traffic will be switched to the new on-ramps on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, by 6:00 a.m.
A new concrete median now separates eastbound and westbound traffic at the Interstate 5-French Camp Road Interchange. Motorists should follow the signage conveying the new ramp and roadway configurations.
The operation to prepare for the traffic switch will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 30, and be completed by 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1. During that 10-hour period of time, motorists may experience ramp closures, lane closures, and detours.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials and construction-related issues.
For the safety of workers and other motorists, please Slow for the Cone Zone.
