Meet the Hatter and the Hare this March at the 21st Annual Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. This popular springtime event, started by the Museum Store Auxiliary in 1993, is inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic story Alice in Wonderland.
Other characters from the book, including Alice, the White Rabbit and the Queen of Hearts, will be brought to life by local drama students.
Tea is served from elegant silver tea services, accompanied by delicious canapés, cookies and other tea time treats prepared by Museum Store Auxiliary members. Find out who stole the tarts!
Museum members will receive their invitations during the last week in February. Make your reservations early, as seating is limited and this event often sells out. Prices are $15 for adults and $10 for children under 12.
For more information, contact Jan Gerst at (209) 462-2300 or jangerst@comcast.net.
If you are interested in attending this event but are not a museum member, start or renew your membership today. Contact Membership Coordinator Kristen Anema at (209) 940-6316 or kanema@hagginmuseum.org for more information.
