The Stockton AHL franchise, owned by the Calgary Flames, announce the five names that have made the final cut from the “Name the AHL Team” contest. The American Hockey League franchise will be known as the Stockton Blaze, Stockton Fire, Stockton Heat, Stockton Inferno or the Stockton Scorch.

The participation of Jose Hernandez in the Symphony in Space performance springs from a conversation between the former astronaut and Peter Jaffe about the concert, the music and the actual experience of flying in space.
With the program Symphony in Space, the orchestra will perform music from all over the galaxy—from Holst to Strauss, from Star Wars to Star Trek. On hand, a very special guest: Jose Hernandez, Stockton’s own NASA astronaut
