City Wide Egg Hunts and Eggstravaganza

March 26 through March 31

Join us for another year of community fun with the fourth City Wide Egg Hunt, hosted by the City of Stockton Community Services Department.  These free community egg hunts take place, Monday, March 26, through Friday, March 30, with special Eggstravaganza events at three local community centers on Saturday, March 31.

From March 26 to March 30, check the City of Stockton Recreation Facebook page at facebook.com/cosrecreation to discover clues for an egg hidden in a different Council District each day of the week.  Each egg includes instructions leading to baskets filled with special giveaways.

On Saturday, March 31, the fun continues with three of Stockton’s community centers hosting free, family-friendly Eggstravaganza events.  Eggstravaganzas offer fun activities – including bounce houses, arts and crafts stations – from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., with egg hunts beginning at “eggsactly” 11:45 a.m.  Combined, over 3,000 candy-filled eggs will be hidden at the three locations.  Be on the lookout for golden eggs that offer special prizes and giveaways.  Egg hunts are arranged by age group – toddlers up to 12-year-olds.  Bring a blanket and a picnic basket to enjoy the Eggstravaganza festivities at one of these locations:

  • Arnold Rue Community Center, 5758 Lorraine Avenue
  • Stribley Community Center, 1760 East Sonora Street
  • Van Buskirk Community Center, 734 Houston Avenue
