Event date: 6/29/2014 12:00 AM - 2:00 AM Export event
DeltaFusion ignites community creativity by bringing the stories of the San Joaquin Delta region – past, present, and future – to life with giant puppets and dramatic pageantry.

DeltaFusion, a Cultural and Community Celebration, is now in its 4th year. We are looking for volunteer-mentors, choreographers, dancers, actors and those who would like to learn how to make and move large puppets. The free workshops and the culminating cultural festival and puppets pageant are open to public. We rely heavily on volunteers to make this unique project happen. Information and recruitment meetings are held at the Haggin Museum's Education Center on March 22 and April 26 at 3 pm. Registration is free but required.

The FREE community workshops take place from June 9 to June 27, and culminate on June 28 at 5 pm with a cultural festival and a unique outdoor pageant in Victory Park.

Additional information and registration forms are available at www.DeltaFusionStockton.com, [email protected], or by calling 209.940.6315. Follow us at Facebook.com/DeltaFusion.
