Homework Helpers at the Margaret Troke Branch Library

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from January 7 through May 15, 2014 the Margaret K Troke Branch Library presents Homework Helpers.

Are you in grades K-5? Need help with your homework? Come on down to the library where our volunteers can assist you. Beginning January 7, Homework Helpers will be available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4-6pm and Thursdays from 5-7pm. Assistance will be available in various subjects such as math, reading, and science for children in kindergarten through fifth grade.  Specialized math tutoring will also be available for students in grades 6 - 12.

Students should bring their homework assignments with them. The program will be offered each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from January 7, through May 15, 2014. This is a free program that is on a first-come, first-served basis. Continue the learning by checking out books, reviewing online databases, and searching the Internet – all for free at your local public library!

This free program is provided through the generosity of the Friends of the Stockton Library.  The Margaret K. Troke Branch Library is a part of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library and is located at 502 W. Benjamin Holt Drive in Stockton.  For more information, call (209) 937-8221 or (866) 805-7323. Visit the Library’s website at www.ssjcpl.org.
