Disabled American Veteran Charities of San Joaquin County’s 2nd Annual Patriot’s Ball

Join Disabled American Veteran Charities of San Joaquin County (DAV Charities) at its 2nd Annual Patriot’s Ball on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at the Stockton Arena. The event honors and supports thousands of local veterans. 

DAV Charities is excited to recognize several distinguished people who have held significant roles among the veteran community. The following will be honored with Patriot’s Awards at this year’s event: John Kautz, Citizen Patriot; Lovotti Inc., Business Patriot; Andy Prokop, Veteran Patriot; Lonnie Lievsay, Veteran Leadership Patriot; and Lance Corporal Lenin Priego Zurita, Posthumous Patriot. 

A cocktail reception will open the event at 5:00 p.m. with dinner starting at 6:00 p.m., followed by a program, live music, silent auction and more. This is a black tie formal event and valet parking will be available. 

DAV Charities has been assisting local veterans for over 45 years. In the past five years, the organization has interviewed over 750 veterans, and after vetting, has assisted over 80 percent of them. Its goal is to raise additional funds to continue assisting physically, mentally, indigent and socially handicapped veterans and their families. Funds raised will allow DAV Charities to provide food grants, emergency rent/utility payment assistance, transportation services, counseling, educational scholarships and much more.
