Flames Assign Rasmus Andersson to Stockton

Calgary, AB – The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned defenseman Rasmus Andersson to the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League. The Flames have also removed Travis Hamonic from the IR.

Andersson, a 21-year-old defenseman, has played ten games with the Heat this season recording one goal and seven assists totaling eight points. During his recent recall to Calgary, he played in one game getting 13:56 of time on ice and was a +2 in a 6-3 win over Detroit.
