Lord’s Gym City Center will be serving over 100 deserving youth for a free Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at their location on Hammer Lane; 848 E. Hammer Lane, Stockton, CA 95210. Pre-registered youth will sit down for traditional Thanksgiving favorites, raffle prizes, and activities thanks to donations from Blue Shield of California and Second Harvest Food Bank of San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties.

It truly takes a community to ignite hope for local youth, especially at a time of the year when things get tight for most families. We are extremely fortunate to have the support of both Blue Shield and Second Harvest again this year as we create moments of friendship, laughter, and excitement for an underserved population.” Heather Green, Executive Director.

The City Center opened in January 2018 and is now the largest teen center in San Joaquin County with over 2,000 youth memberships. The organization exists to keep local youth off the street through mentorship, activities, programs, and field trips.
