The 16th Annual Run & Walk Against Hunger, the single largest fundraising event for the Emergency Food Bank of Stockton & San Joaquin is going virtual this year. The Thanksgiving Morning tradition in downtown Stockton will be virtual due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Each Thanksgiving, thousands of participants converge on downtown Stockton to enjoy the 5k or 10k Run/Walk event prior to celebrating the holiday. This year, participants can sign up for a 5k or 10k virtual experience and complete their walk during the week of Thanksgiving. Contests will be held within the participants to encourage festive costumes and participation.

The Emergency Food Bank has experienced a dramatic increase in need during the pandemic, which means although we are unable to host the actual event, the need for the funds and support are greater than ever.

Registration is now open – runagainsthunger.org or https://runwalkagainsthunger.itsyourrace.com/register/
