On Wednesday, December 7, at 4 p.m., the Weston Ranch Library presents a free, fun craft program for children and their families. Learn to make a traditional parol (Filipino Star Lantern) by covering a 3D bamboo star frame with colored cellophane and decorations. These star-shaped lanterns are hung in windows and carried in parades during the Christmas season in the Philippines. All materials are provided (while they last). Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
This free program is provided through the generosity of the Friends of the Stockton Library and the Weston Ranch Visual Arts Boosters. The Weston Ranch Library is a part of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library and is located at 1453 W. French Camp Road in Stockton.
