WILD THINGS, INC., PRESENTS ANIMALS OF THE WORLD AT THE MAYA ANGELOU AND MARGARET TROKE BRANCH LIBRARIES
On Thursday, July 8, two area libraries will present an educational program, Animals of the World. Animal rescue group Wild Things, Inc., invites you to meet several different wild animals and learn about their lives and habitats. This family program will take place at Maya Angelou at 3:30 p.m. and Margaret Troke at 5:30 p.m. Both programs are free. A display of animal books will be available for customer selection.

WET 'N WETTER RELAYS! AT THE MANTECA BRANCH LIBRARY
On Thursday, July 8, 2010, at 3:00 p.m., the Manteca Branch Library presents Wet 'N Wetter Relays! Cool off this summer as we play water games and compete for prizes. From water balloon tossin' to watermelon seed-spittin', possibly the messiest, wettest fun you'll have all summer. BONNIE LOCKHART - MUSICIAN AT THE ESCALON BRANCH LIBRARY
On Thursday, July 8, 2010, at 3:30 p.m., the Escalon Branch Library presents Musician Bonnie Lockhart. Bonnie is an Oakland, California-based singer, songwriter and educator. She loves children and always gets her young audience to participate in the music-making. Her performances have been described as “an enjoyable combination of folk, ethnic, and original compositions...featuring superb banjo, guitar, fiddle playing, and evocative steel drums....Lockhart’s beautiful compositions, poetic imagery, and delightful sense of humor” are a pleasure to experience. - B.
