The Stockton Opera Association is presenting the great opera, La Boheme, next January 14 and 16. The Stockton Chorale will provide the chorus. La Boheme has a wonderful chorus part, with lots of opportunities to sing. Join the chorus for a chance to perform in this beautiful work.

Auditions for the opera chorus will be held on Tuesday, August 31 and Wednesday September 1 at St. John’s Anglican Church (316 North El Dorado Street, Stockton.) Singers interested in joining the Opera Chorus must schedule an audition by going to the website http://stocktonchorale.org, or by calling the Chorale office at 209-951-6494.

The audition lasts a 15 painless minutes; bring a simple song, if possible. Please warm up before you come, and arrive 10 minutes early to fill out forms.

The Stockton Chorale, founded in 1951, is an approximately 100-member community chorus of singers from the Central Valley, Contra Costa County and Sierra foothills.
