A group of local chefs, restaurateurs and industry associates have organized a fundraiser to support Chef Richard Hyman’s recovery. He was recently badly burned in a kitchen accident. The following particulars are submitted.
“Chefs Help Chefs” is a group of local professionals dedicated to raising money to assist Chef Richard Hyman as he recovers from a potentially career-ending accident he suffered in a kitchen gas explosion. Chef Hyman will be present to interact with guests.
Executive Chef Chris Isert of Brookside Golf and Country Club is the host chef. He will be joined by almost two-dozen chefs and pastry chefs as they prepare specialty creations. Guests will enjoy popular regional wines and hand-crafted beer offered by Valley Brew. Gift baskets of donated items from some of TV’s most admired celebrity chefs will be raffled during the evening--in addition to dinners (or cooking classes) offered by the participating chefs.
