The latest show at SCT, LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE, written by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron and directed by Judy Caruso Williamson, is a treasure. The 90-minute, (no intermission) show is truly a tour de force for the cast of nine astoundingly marvelous female actors.
Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony December 3, 2022
The City of Stockton brings the holidays to life with events, food, entertainment, and lots of holiday cheer throughout December. The holiday happenings begin Saturday, December 3, 2022. The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Weber Point Events Center, 221 N. Center St., is at 5:30 p.m.
MOVIE NIGHT AUGUST 20, 2021
Get ready for another fun-filled summer with Movies At The Point, family-friendly events from the City of Stockton Community Services Department. Sit under the stars at the beautiful Weber Point Events Center in downtown Stockton and enjoy free hit movies with family and friends. Closed captioning is provided for the hearing impaired, upon request. The featured movie will be “Raya and the Last Dragon” (PG), on Friday, August 20.
The Delta's Newest Recreational Rental Company
H2O Excursions, Stockton’s premiere water-sport rental center, is pleased to announce their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for their new location opening at Village West Marina & Resort. The event will take place on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, 8:30am at 6649 Embarcadero Drive, on the lawn to the right as you enter the Marina. Celebratory refreshments and small bites will be available following the ribbon cutting.
Reopening Information & Use Requirements
Weber Point fountain - the City's popular interactive water feature at the Weber Point Events Center - will reopen for the 2021 season beginning Saturday, May 29, 2021. Completely rebuilt and completed in 2020, the fountain features new spray patterns. The fountain will operate following state guidance for water parks under the State of California Blueprint for a Safer Economy; San Joaquin County is currently in the Red Tier 2. Fountain hours are 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. daily and will require small groups using the fountain for shorter intervals of play. Parking in the adjacent parking lot, where Miner Ave. meets Center St., is limited to two hours per vehicle.
Drive-in movie series begins March 19
Get ready for our first Drive-in Movie Series, a family-friendly and socially-distanced event from the City of Stockton Community Services Department brought to you from the parking lot behind Weberstown Mall. Just like the original drive-in movie locations, we ask that you drive-in and enjoy hit movies with family and friends from inside your car. Closed captioning is provided for the hearing impaired, upon request. The Drive-in Movie Series will take place rain or shine.
