Move, Play, & Grow! at the Cesar Chavez Central Library

The Chavez Library is offering a fun and educational opportunity for youth in July: Move, Play, and Grow: How Carbs, Fats & Proteins Power Your Day. This fun, interactive program will be held from 3:30-4:30 pm on the following Tuesdays: July 15, 22, and 29, 2014.

Move, Play, & Grow is designed by University of the Pacific graduates Jafra Thomas, Irene Limon, and Jessica Wilson with assistance from Stagg High student Veronica Vargo. This program is geared toward students in grades 4-6 and will include physical movement, fun activities, and learning! Books on nutrition, energy, and physical movement will be available for checking out with a library card after each program.

This free program is provided through the generosity of the Friends of the Stockton Public Library.  The Cesar Chavez Central Library is a part of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library and is located at 605 N.
