R. Kelly starts at 7pm and the Stockton Ports start at 7:10pm. Guests are encouraged to arrive early and give themselves plenty of time to avoid delays.
On Friday, May 1st, Downtown Stockton will be hosting two large events, with R. Kelly performing at the Stockton Arena and the Stockton Ports hosting the San Jose Giants at Stockton Ballpark.
This musical, written by Cole Porter, is the musical version of William Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew.”

Navy Veteran Stan Rapada (SCPO, USN, Retired) is a member of the International Veterans Alliance, and a Financial Aid Specialist at Delta College’s Leo P. Burke Veteran Resource Center. Mr. Rapada has dedicated his life to helping veterans. His free time recently took a dramatic detour. Stan was recruited by documentary producers Richard Campos and Matthew Charles Hall to journey to Iraq.
Arecia Yee will join the City of Stockton Community Services Department management team as Deputy Director of Recreation, effective May 18, 2015.
Arecia Yee, who is currently a Community Service Manager with the City of Richmond, will oversee City of Stockton Community Services Department programs and community centers.
