United Way of San Joaquin proudly presents the fourth annual TRÜ HOPE Summit, an event that connects local youth with motivational speakers, professional athletes, musicians, and other positive influencers through a high-energy audio and visual performance.
Stockton Unified School District and Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce sponsored this year’s college and career fair that follows the TRÜ HOPE presentation and features over 60 + on-site education and career opportunities.
The event is free for registered student/groups and welcomes schools and community- based organizations. Those interested in attending must register at truhopesummit.com to be provided with verified enrollment, information, and directions.
This year’s roster includes Jeremy Bates, founder and official Hope Dealer; Desiree Dallagiacomo, a spoken word poet and a community leader teaching inner city youth how to put their thoughts on paper; Greg Garmen, a world-class drummer touring with Selena Gomez; RAZA, an independent Hip Hop artist; Sydney Olsen, top 3 in the world for female freerunners, first and only woman to beat the 10 time world champion Luci Romberg; Corbin Reinhardt, quickly becoming one of the top freerunning athletes in the USA and a motocross athlete; Flip Rodriguez, an American Ninja Warrior Competitor; Dem Bague Boys, an award-winning dance group hailing from the Stockton.
“This year, the TRÜ HOPE all-star line-up of talent is ready to use their gifts, and personal stories, to showcase to local students what it takes to be “Living My Best Life,” said ‘Hope Dealer’ Jeremy Bates. Living My Best Life is a statement that we instill in ourselves, and others, to do the best and be the best at whatever obstacle it is we are approaching in life. Whether it’s school, sports, relationships, or career.
