A new kind of fall festival is coming to downtown Stockton this October, bringing together books, independent film, food, cosplay and pop culture in one all-day event. The GRIM Festival: Books, Bites & Flicks will take place Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Weber Point Events Center, 221 N. Center Street in Stockton.

One day after jazz and R&B take over Weber Point, Stockton's waterfront will be filled with a different sound: gospel. Gospel on the Water Festival returns to Weber Point Events Center on Sunday, September 13, 2026, bringing together nationally recognized gospel performers for an afternoon and evening of music, faith and community.

Few organizations get the opportunity to look back on an entire century of service. This fall, United Way of San Joaquin County will do exactly that as it joins the Stockton Symphony for Unforgettable: Celebrating 100 Years of Community, a special centennial celebration on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 6 to 10 p.m. at The River Mill in French Camp.

A longstanding Japanese cultural tradition will return to Stockton this September as the Buddhist Church of Stockton presents its Annual Obon Japanese Festival & Odori on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

University of the Pacific students will soon be returning to Stockton for a new academic year, and the Miracle Mile is preparing to welcome them back with a community-wide celebration. Tigers Prowlin' The Mile will take place Friday, August 21, from 6 to 9 p.m. along Stockton's Miracle Mile, bringing together Pacific students, faculty, staff, local businesses and residents for an evening designed to strengthen the connection between the university and the surrounding community.
