Heat Place 10 From Final Roster in Flames’ Camp

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Calgary Flames announced their Phase 3 camp schedule and roster on Sunday, featuring 10 players who were on the Heat roster at the time the 2019-20 AHL season was suspended before ultimately being canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Included in the Calgary group are netminders Jon Gillies and Artyom Zagidulin, defenseman Alexander Yelesin and forwards Austin Czarnik, Byron Froese, Matthew Phillips, Glenn Gawdin, Buddy Robinson, Adam Ruzicka and Alan Quine.

The camp will open on Monday, July 13 to start a series of practices before the Flames are to face off against the Winnipeg Jets in a best-of-five play-in round for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, set to start on August 1 in Edmonton.
