So far Caltrans has completed four of the ten hinges scheduled for improvement. Two in both the eastbound and westbound directions. Maintenance crews were out again during both daytime and nighttime hours doing crack seal repair and also striping. Motorists may observe heavier traffic congestion between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. During the eastbound closures, the traffic signal timing for the I-5/Charter Way on and off-ramps, was adjusted to accommodate the additional traffic volume. The next weekend closure will be in the eastbound direction and take place August 5, 2016 to August 8, 2016.
