Long-time Manteca Resident Passes Away

Pete Morales, longtime Manteca resident and barber, passed away on Aug. 12, 2017.  He was born Dec. 30, 1930 in Denver, Colorado.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and attended St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Gregory, his brothers Freddy, Gilbert, Herman, Cipie and Willie.  Survived by his wife Concepcion. His living children include Gary (and grandchildren), Michael, Teresa, Bernadette and Steven Morales and his sister Mary Lou Pacheco and granddaughter Sophia Payan Morales. Extended family included Albert Frausto, Kirk (Flora), Carl (Melodie), Bob, and Evelyn Bennett and their children.

His fun personality and kind heart made him loved by all.

Public viewing is held Monday, Aug. 21, 2017  from 1pm to 5pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017 at 11am at P.L. Fry & Son, 290 N. Union Rd, Manteca.  For condolences to the family please visit their online guest book at www.plfryandson.com
