Over 100 area high school counselors are slated to attend Delta College’s 17th Annual Counselor Collaboration Day, Friday, Feb. 19 at Delta’s Tillie Lewis Theater. The day-long event will focus on information high school counselors can share with prospective Delta College students to successfully navigate the Summer/Fall 2016 registration and enrollment processes.
“High school counselors will have the opportunity to learn about various program services that support retention, career/transfer and educational goal planning” said Delecia Nunnally, Delta’s Dean of Counseling & Special Services. “Presentations include Student Success & Support Program updates.”
The Counseling & Special Services Division hosts the annual conference to provide up-to-date information about the campus, and opportunities for counselors to ask questions directly from Delta’s experts. Counselors will interact with representatives from various Delta College student service and instructional programs. The event also features visits to Delta’s excellent instructional facilities.
