You are invited to join our new and free Art Club series beginning Saturday, August 2nd and Sept. 6th. Come to watch, draw, paint, and create. The Club will be held at the JLI Studio beginning Saturday, August 2nd and Sept. 6th, from 2-4pm.
We will focus on a broad range of scenery, materials, & rendering techniques. At each session the Club's Lead Artist will introduce the materials and techniques of the day, while club members develop their own visions of various landscape elements -- from trees & foliage to cityscapes. Participants will play with forms, colors & ideas in a social setting with others who share an interest in expressing their visions on paper. No prior experience or special skill required. All are welcome to watch, explore, and practice as we learn from each other.
Each meeting will begin with a display and review of member artworks-in-progress. Bring something you've finished recently, are working on now, or just beginning. All Club artists are committed to providing helpful critiques to support each other's artistic growth.
This program will include an Art Show to display our creations for the public.
