Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Fremont Park

Downtown Stockton Park Reclaimed by Kids

The Leadership Stockton Class of 2014 is proud to announce the completion of their R&R for Fremont Park Project!

They will be holding a ribbon cutting Thursday, April 24th, 12:30pm at Fremont Park, 302 E. Fremont St.! The Ribbon cutting will be in conjunction with the El Concilio new location ribbon cutting/open house.

There will be refreshments and fun at the park. We want to get the ribbon cutting for the Leadership Stockton Project done at 12:30pm sharp so don’t be late! If you can make it please RSVP to Erin Diego,

Founded in 1981, Leadership Stockton is California's oldest adult community leadership program.Leadership Stockton is a program designed to inspire a new generation of men and women ready to assume leadership roles in our community.

Leadership Stockton is an 11-month program dedicated to providing participants with an understanding of our region's history, diversity, justice system, politics, government, economy, education, human services. The class meets once a month.

The program is tuition based and is $900 per participant. Scholarships are available. The applications are available online at and the application deadline in June with the class starting in August.
