Ticketing Update: Suspended Play

Last Updated: March 12

On March 12, the AHL released the following statement:

“With the health and safety of our players, officials, staff and fans of primary importance, the American Hockey League has announced the suspension of play until further notice, effective immediately, due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.

The AHL will continue to monitor developments and will provide updates on the 2019-20 season at the appropriate time.”

In conjunction, the Stockton Heat released the following statement:

“The health, safety and well-being of our fans, staff and players remain the most important priority of the Stockton Heat and Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation. The Heat and CSEC are in full support of the American Hockey League’s decision of the suspension of play of the 2019-20 season, effective immediately and until further notice, due to COVID – 19.

As a result of this decision, the Heat home games this weekend against the Colorado Eagles will not take place as originally scheduled.

We are currently working on answers to frequently asked questions from our various stakeholders and it is our intention to communicate on a regular basis as this situation is fluid. For further updates please refer to our website at www.stocktonheat.com.

As with the AHL, we are hopeful to resume the season and playoffs when appropriate and prudent.”
