Ticketing Update: Suspended Play

On March 12, the AHL released the following statement:

“With the health and safety of our players, officials, staff and fans of primary importance, the American Hockey League has announced the suspension of play until further notice, effective immediately, due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.

The AHL will continue to monitor developments and will provide updates on the 2019-20 season at the appropriate time.”

In conjunction, the Stockton Heat released the following statement:

“The health, safety and well-being of our fans, staff and players remain the most important priority of the Stockton Heat and Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation. The Heat and CSEC are in full support of the American Hockey League’s decision of the suspension of play of the 2019-20 season, effective immediately and until further notice, due to COVID – 19.

As a result of this decision, the Heat home games this weekend against the Colorado Eagles will not take place as originally scheduled.

We are currently working on answers to frequently asked questions from our various stakeholders and it is our intention to communicate on a regular basis as this situation is fluid. For further updates please refer to our website at

As with the AHL, we are hopeful to resume the season and playoffs when appropriate and prudent.”

The City of Stockton released a Proclamation of the Existence of a Local Emergency, prohibiting crowds greater than 250 through the end of March.



Saturday, March 14 vs. Colorado – 6 p.m. – will not be played as scheduled
Sunday, March 15 vs. Colorado – 5 p.m. – will not be played as scheduled
Saturday, March 28 vs. Ontario – 6 p.m. – TBD; Stockton Emergency Proclamation in effect
Sunday, March 29 vs. San Diego – 5 p.m. – TBD; Stockton Emergency Proclamation in effect



Heat365 Members: Partial-season Heat365 Members who will miss games due to the suspension of play, rescheduling or cancellation of games will receive account credit to be redeemed for add-on tickets later this season or in the playoffs. Full-Season Members who are unable to attend rescheduled or cancelled games will receive add-on credit for the Calder Cup Playoffs.

Group Outings: Group Leaders will be contacted by a Stockton Heat ticketing executive to reschedule their group night upon resumption of play or if no remaining game dates will suffice, those groups will receive first preference of next year’s available dates.

In-Shape Flex Holders: In-Shape Flex vouchers are eligible to be redeemed upon resumption of the 2019-20 season and the 2020 Calder Cup Playoffs.

Single-Game Tickets: Fans who wish to receive refunds for single-game tickets purchased for games that have been rescheduled or cancelled may do so by contacting the initial point of sale. If fans would like to redeem those tickets for vouchers to future Heat games upon resumption of play may do so by contacting the Heat front office at 209.373.1500.
