City of Stockton Community Centers – August 15 – August 19
Extremely high temperatures are expected Monday through Friday this week. City of Stockton Community Centers will be open as cooling zones for those who need to escape the heat. Areas designated in each City of Stockton Community Center will be open during regular operational hours: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, August 15 through August 19.
Josh Ward, a 2022 graduate of Lincoln High School in Stockton, CA completed an intensive, eight-week Summer Flight Academy aviation training program at Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, NJ, receiving his FAA Private Pilot’s License and college credits.

Parade, Festival and Fireworks Viewing in Downtown Stockton at Weber Point Events Center
Celebrate Independence Day on July 4 in downtown Stockton with a full day of festivities and entertainment. Weber Point Events Center, 221 N. Center Street, will open to the public on July 4, for the community to celebrate and gather for a full day of free activities and viewing of the fireworks show on the downtown waterfront.
