Allegiant Air today announced new, nonstop service between Stockton and sunny San Diego. The company is offering one-way fares to San Diego for as low as $39 for a limited time.
“We’re very excited to begin offering the only nonstop option for Stockton area travelers to visit the San Diego area,” said Jude Bricker, Allegiant senior vice president of planning. “With our low fares and the convenience of traveling from Stockton, we’re certain that these new flights will provide the perfect opportunity to getaway to Southern California.”
The flights will operate twice weekly and will fly nonstop between Stockton Metropolitan Airport (SCK) and San Diego International Airport (SAN) beginning April 7, 2016. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.
“Allegiant has been a great partner to us at Stockton Metropolitan Airport,” said Harry Mavrogenes, airport director. “We are very excited to have the new San Diego flights added, and we are certain that this route will be very successful.”
The new, ultra-low-cost service will be the only nonstop flights connecting the two cities. Allegiant currently provides nonstop service from Stockton Metropolitan Airport to Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport (LAS) and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA).
