City Council Vacancy – District 2
The City of Stockton will begin the process of selecting and appointing a Councilmember for Council District 2. Councilmember Kathy Miller will take an oath of office and begin serving as a San Joaquin County Supervisor in January, 2015.

The Mexican Heritage Center and Gallery will be holding its annual Dia de los Muertos exhibit October 7th – November 2nd. Dia de los Muertos is a cultural celebration dating back to the early Aztecs. During this time we celebrate the lives of those that have gone before us. Altars or ofrendas are made for loved ones, family members, and friends that have died. We celebrate their lives and remember them in death.
