The Reynolds Gallery at the University of the Pacific is excited to announce Stockton Seen, an exhibition highlighting the collaborative spirit and artistic legacy of four distinguished faculty artists: Larry Walker, Barbara Flaherty, Carla Malone, and Chisato Nishioka Watanabe.

The Gospel Center Rescue Mission (GCRM) is excited to begin construction on the New Life Program Multi-Purpose Center, and will celebrate at a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 2:00 on the GCRM campus, located at 445 S. San Joaquin Street, Stockton, California. The New Life Program Multi-Purpose Center will be a three-story, 130 bed, 12,400 square foot facility which will include sleeping rooms with one to four beds each, shower rooms, laundry facilities and a classroom area.

San Joaquin County Public Health Services has confirmed a West Nile Virus (WNV) infection in San Joaquin County. This is the first confirmed human case in the county for 2024, and the 28th reported human case in California for this year. The 57-year-old male Stockton resident has received medical services at a Sacramento area healthcare facility.
