STOCKTON, Calif. – The Stockton Heat announce today that Mark Binetti, a broadcast veteran with a decade of experience behind the mic, has been named the new play by play voice of Heat hockey.
Binetti, 33, spent the previous eight seasons with the Rapid City Rush of the ECHL, voicing 585 consecutive games over that span and was a finalist for the 2020 ECHL Public Relations/Broadcaster of the Year Award. Prior to joining the Rush, Binetti served as a broadcast assistant with the Charlotte Checkers from 2011 through 2013.

In addition to his role during Heat broadcasts, the Charlotte, North Carolina native will be the face of Heat TV digital videos found via the club’s social channels as well as representing the club at various events around Stockton.
