Councilmember Zapien Offers Community Office Hours

Councilmember Moses Zapien, District 4, will hold monthly community office hours at City Hall, 425 N. El Dorado Street, 2nd floor, room 200A.Office hours for Councilmember Zapien will be, 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., the first Monday of each month, beginning Monday, February 4, 2013.  Members of the community are welcome and encouraged to drop in for discussions with Councilmember Zapien.

"As Councilmembers, we need to ensure that we remain easily accessible and connected to the citizens we serve,” said Councilmember Zapien.  “Hosting regular community office hours is a way to create an ongoing connection with the community through a dialogue of questions, ideas, and concerns, so that together, we can get Stockton back on track."

Councilmember Zapien represents Council District 4, which extends north to Fourteen Mile Slough and March Lane; west to include the Port of Stockton and Brookside; east to Wilson Way and Golden Gate Ave; and south to Smith Canal, Harding Way and Union Pacific Rail Road, just north of the Crosstown Freeway.  The district includes the Miracle Mile and University of the Pacific, as well.

In addition to monthly office hours, Councilmember Zapien will begin hosting, “Council On Your Corner” gatherings at various locations throughout his district.  Exact dates, times and locations will be announced and posted to his Council District 4 web page at www.stocktongov.com/district4.
