VIDEO GAME DAY AT THE MAYA ANGELOU BRANCH LIBRARY

On Thursday, November 21, at 3:00 p.m., the Maya Angelou Library will host Video Game Day featuring Mario Kart! Test your skill at various electronic games and enjoy snacks with other videogamers cheer on your favorite competitors, too.

This free program is provided through the generosity of the Friends of the Stockton Public Library.  The Maya Angelou Branch Library is a part of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library and is located at 2324 Pock Lane in Stockton.  For more information, call (209) 937-8221 or (866) 805-7323. 

TURKEY TIME AT THE CESAR CHAVEZ CENTRAL LIBRARY 

On Wednesdays, Nov. 6 through 27, at 3:30  p.m., the Ripon Branch Library presents Lego Club.  Join fellow Lego enthusiasts to create and share original Lego creations.  Each week, members will design a new Lego creation based on the "surprise" weekly theme. The club is open to all young members from toddlers to teen.  The more advanced Lego club members will meet in the community room, the beginners (toddlers) will meet for free play with bigger blocks in the children's area.  Legos will be provided. You do not need to bring your own.

LET’S CHAT: ENGLISH CONVERSATION CLUB AT THE CESAR CHAVEZ CENTRAL LIBRARY
The Let’s Chat: English Conversation Club will resume Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the Cesar Chavez Central Library. The club will meet every Wednesday from 3:30 to 5 pm in the Programming/Outreach office of the Library.
This program is for ESL adults (English as a Second Language Learner) who wish to practice their English language speaking skills in a casual and relaxed environment. Participating adults should be able to read English and desire an opportunity to practice English conversation. Pre-registration is not required.
