Fun Events at the Library

 

 THE SCIENCE WIZARD AT THE MAYA ANGELOU AND WESTON RANCH  LIBRARIES

On Thursday, March 28, two Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Libraries will host The Science Wizard.  Quirky scientist Jordan Reading will thrill and amaze the audience with his Awesome Air Pressure program.  The first show will be at the Maya Angelou Branch at 3:30 p.m., and the second show will be at the Weston Ranch Branch at 6 p.m.

These free programs are provided through the generosity of the Friends of the Stockton Public Library.  The Maya Angelou and Weston Ranch Libraries are a part of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library and are located at 2324 Pock Lane (Angelou) and 1453 W. French Camp Road (Weston Ranch)  in Stockton. 

MUSIC FROM AROUND THE WORLD  AT THE M.K. TROKE BRANCH LIBRARY

On Thursday, March 14th, at 6:00 p.m., the M.K. Troke Branch Library presents Don O'Brien's Multicultural Music from Around the World.  Celebrate the cultural diversity of musical instruments around the world in this show designed for grades kindergarten through eigth grade. Continue the learning by checking out books, reviewing online databases,
and searching the Internet * all for free at your local public library!

This free program is provided through the generosity of the Stockton Friends of the  Library.  The M.K. Troke Branch Library Library is a part of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library and is located at 502 W. Ben Holt Dr in Stockton
