Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony December 2, 2023
The City of Stockton brings the holidays to life with events, food, entertainment, and lots of holiday cheer throughout December. Beginning Saturday, December 2, 2023, the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at Weber Point Events Center, 221 N. Center St. Weber Point gates will open at 3:00 p.m. offering lots of holiday festivities and cheer for the entire community. Don’t miss the tree lighting at 5:30 p.m., which will take place rain or shine.
Homeless and Runaway Youth Awareness Month
PREVAIL, formerly Women’s Center-Youth & Family Services, offers safety, refuge, and mentoring to at-risk youth throughout the county. We provide emergency shelters where youth experiencing homelessness can seek immediate support, a transitional living program where young adults receive supportive housing while they are transitioning to independence, a basic needs center where youth have access to meals, clothing closet, laundry and shower facilities, mail services, hygiene and first-aid supplies, clinical services, and substance use counseling among other wrap around services.

Weber Point comes alive Sept. 16th with Family Day at the Park.
The Record’s 26th Annual Family Day at the Park will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Weber Point in Stockton. The event is free to the public. The Record’s signature event, Family Day at the Park provides a full day of fun and educational activities for the entire community.
