Festival attendees have called it the "best outdoor concert festival of the summer", and this year The Voice of San Joaquin & Stockton raised the bar with a star-studded lineup and a bigger venue. Beautiful Weber Point Event Center in Stockton, CA, will be buzzing with Authentic, and Mexican-themed foods and beverages, including Mexican beers and wine for adults 21+, with ID.
The Reunion / La Reunión 5th Annual Concert & Culture Festival, formerly known as #CCPR5 (short for the epicly named Chicano Community Program Radio Reunion and Car & Motorcycle Show), will feature unforgettable performances by the Juan Escovedo Band, The Mike Torres Band, The Latin Magic Band, Gambizi & Dos Four, Ramirez Brothers Blues Band, Blanca Sahagun of Latin Soul, Juan Carlos Band, Cesar Chavez Mariachi, Ballet Folklorico de Frank Zapata, Almazan Aztec Dancers, and others. Keynote Speaker will be Tracy City Councilmember Veronica Vargas.
Other event activities include the All-Clubs Car & Motorcycle Show, food and exhibitors mercado, beer & wine corral, fashion show, and family & kids activities: youth open mic, artist paint challenge, and soccer challenges. This year will feature both the annual Homemade Salsa Contest, and new this year, a Homemade Guacamole Contest ($10 fee per entry, register by 12pm, winners announced at 3pm, bring enough chips to share).
