Visionary Home Builders of California has been named a Top 3 2026 Business Rate Award Winner, ranking as Stockton's top home builder based on Google reviews from clients across the region.
The distinction from Business Rate is based on verified customer feedback and publicly available review data. "Visionary Home Builders of California has distinguished itself among the highest-rated businesses," said Kyle Pittman, founder and president of Business Rate. "This recognition is based on verified customer feedback and publicly available review data."
The honor comes during a year of expansion for VHB, a nonprofit developer. The organization secured more than $1.034 billion in new funding for future affordable housing projects, completed 80 units in Livingstone, CA for low-income families, and placed three additional developments totaling 281 affordable units under construction.
VHB's community programs reach well beyond housing. The organization has provided free childcare services to more than 1,000 children while offering farmers' markets, adult financial literacy education and workforce development programs. As a nonprofit developer, VHB has built more than 1,000 single-family homes and developed more than 1,500 units of rental housing in San Joaquin County and other Valley communities, with a goal of helping renters and buyers achieve homeownership. Through its Homeownership and Rental Center, the organization has helped thousands of homeowners facing foreclosure or in need of a loan modification.
"We're grateful for this honor, especially because it means we are delivering affordable, quality housing that strengthens our community."
Annette Sanchez, interim CEO of Visionary Home Builders
