Troke Children's Room To Reopen After Renovation

Made Possible By Strong Communities

Event date: 10/20/2018 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM Export event

Over the last two weeks, the Margaret Troke Library Children’s Room has undergone a renovation and will reopen to the public on Saturday, October 20, 2018. New furniture, shelving, rugs and paint have transformed the space so children and families can really enjoy their visits to the library. The collection has also been cleaned up and reorganized so customers can more easily make selections.

The Troke staff will host a small reception at 10 a.m. on Oct. 20, 2018 to celebrate the renovated Children’s Area. All are welcome to join in the celebration and experience these improvements.

The Troke Children’s Room Renovation was made possible by the Strong Communities Initiative, a dedicated, special transactions and use tax. Approved by Stockton voters in November 2016, Strong Communities funds are specifically dedicated for City of Stockton recreation and library programs, services and facilities.

For more information about these exciting changes, please call 209-937-8206. Information about services and programs at the Troke Library is available on the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library’s website atwww.ssjcpl.org.
