Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library announces the launch of their new Axis 360 digital media library, now available to all cardholders through the SSJCPL website (www.ssjcpl.org). Axis 360 provides a state-of-the-art system for circulating eBooks. Axis 360 is also a fully accessible platform that works with the Blio eReading application to open the world of eBooks to all library cardholders, including those who are visually impaired.

Over 23,000 guests attended events in Downtown Stockton over the June 1st weekend.  The KAT Country Listener Appreciation Concert (LAC), Edison High School graduation, Franklin High School graduation, and the Teachers College of San Joaquin graduation all took place between June 1st and 2nd.  

 

The Stockton Symphony unveiled its 2013-14 season today, featuring five Classics Series concerts and four Pops Series concerts. A detailed list of concerts accompanies this release.

The African American Athletic Hall of Fame will hold their 22nd Annual Induction Ceremony on June 29, 5 p.m. at the Presentation Community Center, 1515 Benjamin Holt Drive, Stockton. Bring your family and friends to witness the induction of three of the area’s greatest athletic success stories!

One-way, reversing traffic control will be in place between 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 3, 2013, and 5:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2013, to accommodate work required on French Camp Road between Manthey Road and the southbound Interstate 5 ramps.  On- and off-ramps for Interstate 5 will remain open.
