The Thunder has signed defenseman Michal Spacek and forward J.P. Burkemper
Stockton Thunder Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Rich Kromm announced Monday that the team has signed defenseman Michal Spacek and forward J.P. Burkemper. The two players were in training camp with the Thunder and played in the team’s preseason games.
Swimming their second meet of the season, the Pacific women held strong but in the end fell 135-70 at Nevada on Friday, Oct. 25. The Tigers picked up a trio of wins but the depth of the Wolf Pack was too much to overcome. Despite the two teams competing in the pool, the day was more about coming together as both teams swam with SMS on their shoulders in support of Sparks Middle School and in support of those effected by the tragic school shooting on Oct. 21.
The Pacific women's soccer team dropped a tough 2-1 decision at Pepperdine on Friday, October 25. With the loss, the Tigers dropped to 2-10-3 on the season and 1-3-1 in West Coast Conference. Pepperdine improved to 8-5-2, 3-2-0 in WCC play.
The Thunder held off a late rally from Bakersfield to claim 2nd win
The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s New York Islanders and the AHL’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers, posted a 5-4 victory over the Bakersfield Condors in its first road game of the season.
The Pacific women's soccer team scored in the first three minutes and played great defense to earn a 1-0 victory at Loyola Marymount on Sunday, October 27. With the win, the Tigers improved to 3-10-3 on the season and 2-3-1 in West Coast Conference action. Loyola Marymount dropped to 3-13-0 overall, 0-6-0 in WCC play.
