Children's Summer Reading Program at the Weston Ranch Branch Library

The Weston Ranch Branch Library presents this year’s Summer Reading Program, “Every Hero Has a Story” from June 1 – July 31. The Summer Reading Program is to encourage everyone to read during the summer months. The library will host a variety of themed activities for children, teens, and adults that encourage and support a love of reading. Participants also can win prizes for reaching their reading goals.

Themed events include:

  • Thursday, June 4, 6:00 pm - Steve Chaney and Corny Crow Ventriloquism Program
  • Thursday, June 11, 6:00 pm - Puppet Art Theater Presents "Super Tommy"
  • Thursday, June 18, 6:00 pm - Wild Things, Inc. Animal Education Program
  • Thursday, June 25, 6:00 pm - The Bubble Lady
  • Thursday, July 2, 6:00 pm - "Superstar Animals"
  • Thursday, July 9, 6:00 pm - Tony Borders Present "Peter Pan: Hero of Imagination"
  •  Thursday, July 16, 6:00 pm - Magic Show with Brian Scott Productions
  • Thursday, July 23, 6:00 pm - The Serpentarium: A Living Reptile Museum
  • Thursday, July 30, 6:00 pm - Ice Cream Social

These free programs are provided through the generosity of the Friends of the Stockton Public Library. The Weston Ranch Branch Library is a part of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library and is located at 1453 W. French Camp Road in Stockton.
