Councilmember Tubbs to Hold Community Meeting

Councilmember Michael Tubbs, District 6, will hold a community meeting at the Dorothy L. Jones Family Resource Center, 2044 Fair Street, on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, 5:30p – 7:00p. The Dorothy L. Jones Center is operated by the Community Partnership for Families and located in Williams Brotherhood Park. Councilmember Tubbs will host the community meeting in partnership with Congressman Jerry McNerney.
The purpose of the community meeting will be to discuss issues of importance to residents of Stockton. Members of the Stockton Police Department will be available to address questions and provide information about crime and keeping neighborhoods safe through Neighborhood Watch. An update on the Marshall Plan on Public Safety, a strategic initiative adopted by the City Council, will be provided.
