Italian Saxophone Quartet Concert Sunday!

Program highlights: Prelude and Fugue XVI (J.S. Bach), Adagio (Barber), The Easy Winners (Joplin), Oblivión (Piazzolla)

You won’t want to miss the Friends of Chamber Music concert this coming Sunday, February 17 at 2.30 p.m. in Faye Spanos Concert Hall.  Our guests, the Italian Saxophone Quartet, have been playing together internationally for almost 30 years, and are sure to provide delightful entertainment.

The Italian Saxophone Quartet (ISQ) was founded in 1982 by four saxophone soloists, close friends determined to join together to perform chamber music for saxophone at the very highest artistic level. Now nearing the thirty-year mark as a group, they have played to wide acclaim in more than 500 concerts in Italy (including the most important concert institutions), France, Germany, Spain, Greece, Japan, USA, Sweden, Lebanon, Bermuda and Russia. Since 2002 the ISQ’s annual tours of the United States have brought them to New York City where they showcased at the annual Arts Presenters Conference, and to prestigious series from Florida to Alaska.

Please see the attached flyer, and visit our website www.chambermusicfriends.org, where you can see a video clip of the group, view the complete program, buy a ticket, donate, and more!

Tickets are $25 for adults and free for students, and are available at the door or on the website.
