High schoolers weighing what comes after graduation can meet representatives from more than 40 universities in one evening at San Joaquin Delta College's 49th annual College Night.
The event runs Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on the Delta College campus, 5151 Pacific Ave. in Stockton.
"College Night is all about helping students see what's possible after high school," said Alvin Jaimes, a student programs specialist at Delta College. "They can explore colleges and universities, ask questions and start thinking about the path that's right for them. And for students who want to stay close to home, Delta offers an affordable path to a great career or a four-year degree."
The evening is broken into several sessions:
Delta College transfer advantage overview: Tillie Lewis Theatre, 5:30-6 p.m.
Delta College financial aid overview: Tillie Lewis Theatre, 6-6:25 p.m.
College fair with four-year university representatives: Danner Hall, 5:30-8 p.m.
Application help, in three concurrent sessions at 6:30, 7 and 7:30 p.m.: CSU system at the Tony Fitch Forum; UC system at the Dawn Mabalon Forum; and Historically Black Colleges and Universities and private universities at the Campesino Forum.
