Echoes in Creation Showcases the Next Wave of Stockton-Area Artistic Talent at University of the Pacific

Event date: 4/9/2026 - 5/7/2026 Export event

Art lovers in Stockton have a new reason to stop by the University of the Pacific this month.

The Reynolds Gallery is now presenting “Echoes in Creation,” the annual senior and junior art and graphic design showcase featuring impressive student work from Pacific’s emerging artists and designers. The exhibition opened Tuesday, April 7, and the community is invited to a special celebration reception on Thursday, April 9, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Friends, families, and community members are all welcome to attend and experience a wide range of creative work from students whose pieces reflect talent, vision, and fresh perspective. The exhibit will remain on view through Thursday, May 7, giving Stockton residents plenty of time to explore the show.

This year’s featured senior graphic design students are Manuel Barrientos, Lucas Campainha, Aruelle Fernandez, Molly Keighran, and Sharan Satish. Featured studio arts seniors include Melary Alcazar, Hyunsoo Kim, Mahnoor Mahmood, and Maria Marquez.

In addition to the senior showcase, the Art Building lobby includes interdisciplinary work by junior students majoring in graphic design, studio art, and MPRO. Those students are Nico Blum, Alexa Carranza Mendez, Erik Guerrero-Rodriguez, Mikayla Henry, Gia Hung Tran, Noah Valdez, Quoc Hung Vu, and Jhih-Ci Wang.

For the Stockton community, “Echoes in Creation” offers more than an art show. It is a chance to support young creatives, celebrate the arts locally, and see the original work being produced by students right here on campus.

The Reynolds Gallery is located in the Jeannette Powell Art Center at University of the Pacific, 1071 W. Mendocino Ave. in Stockton. Admission is free, and the gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Street parking is available.
