Lighted Boat Parade

Don't miss the 2021 Stockton Lighted Boat Parade on Saturday, December 4th!

Event date: 12/4/2021 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Export event

Stockton families will once again see lighted, decorated boats as they make their annual voyage through the San Joaquin Delta towards downtown Stockton to kick-off the holiday season on Saturday, December 4 at 5 pm.  Hosted by the Stockton Yacht Club this year marks the 40th Anniversary for the annual Lynn Hahn Memorial Delta Reflections Lighted Boat Parade in downtown Stockton. The boat procession should reach downtown at approximately 6:30 pm.

“We are excited to announce this year’s boat parade will occur on December 4 and are thrilled to announce a partnership with the Ebony Youth Foundation, a charitable service organization that transforms the lives of ethnic and urban students and provides safety awareness training for the youth in the community. Registration fees raised will benefit the local non-profit,” stated Roger Hahn, coordinator of the event and Lynn’s son.  The organization teaches urban youth proper boating and water safety techniques as well as how to respond in emergency water situations. At the Annual Youth Day Boating event, participants can board a Coast Guard Patrol or San Joaquin County Sheriff’s rescue vessel and for some of the participants, take their first boat ride on one of the Ebony Boat Club fleet vessels as well as learn how to catch and release fish“The mission of boating, water safety and boating activities would make my mother proud and she would want these monies to help the work they do for our community.”

The annual parade features boats of all shapes and sizes and their owners who will decorate their barges to create a very unique event for the Stockton community and the Delta.  The popular Fireboat from the Port of Stockton will lead the way down the Delta Channel to start the procession of lighted watercraft to the delight of families as it makes its way to the review stand and on to Weber Point and Lake McLeod where the boats will turn around back through the Delta.

The boat parade will coincide with the lighting of the holiday tree at Weber Point.  The park will open at 4pm with the tree lighting ceremony commencing at 5:30pm.  For more information for sponsorship, donations or to register your boat in the parade, contact Roger Hahn at 209-603-7147 or [email protected].  For information on the tree lighting ceremony go to visitstockton.org/events and for rules and registration on the parade go to https://stocktonyc.clubexpress.com.
