Aaron Judge, Captain of the New York Yankees and Founder of the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation is proud to announce the May 2025 ALL RISE Mini-Grant recipients, each receiving $3,000. These organizations connect with the ALL RISE mission to inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens and reach unlimited possibilities.

Whether experiencing homelessness, in need of additional educational support, or engaging in opportunities to build up their neighborhoods, I am pleased that these programs are growing students to reach their greatest potential,” says Aaron Judge, Founder of ALL RISE Foundation.
The mission of HomeMore Project, San Joaquin County, California is to uplift the homeless community by providing realistic, yet innovative solutions to an ongoing crisis. They designed the Makeshift Traveler, a backpack to help someone experiencing homelessness. It features a solar panel with a battery pack and USB charging port, a sleeping bag, poncho, radio, flashlight, a brochure for social services, to name a few. This aligns with ALL RISE by empowering homeless youth with resources that support their well-being. The Makeshift Traveler ensures homeless youth are equipped to stay connected with family and services that support their well-being. This fosters responsibility and resilience, helping young individuals rise above their circumstances.
Poverello House, Fresno County, California, is a community leader that provides innovative shelter programs for people experiencing homelessness. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will help provide enrichment workshops for children that focus on science, arts, reading, teamwork, and basic life skills, many of which are led by trained volunteers, including college students, retired teachers, and AmeriCorps fellows. Poverello House will recruit and train volunteers to assist with youth programming through hands-on service, helping to supervise activities, model positive behavior, and provide mentoring. In addition, the funding will provide basic materials and supplies for activities such as art kits, books, learning games, sports equipment, and healthy snacks for children ages 5–14 who are often impacted by generational poverty, food insecurity, and trauma.
The Angellyh Yambo Foundation, Bronx, New York is committed to fostering community development to assist victims of gun violence by educating the public through awareness, youth education programs and prevention strategies. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will help support the Community Mapping Program, working with high school students to explore their neighborhoods through mapping exercises and identifying key challenges such as litter, neglected public spaces, and safety concerns. The program culminates in student-led community action projects that support community change. Students gain confidence, leadership experience and engage with civic leaders to address local issues. Students are provided a pipeline to explore professions such as urban planning, data science, and community development.
PS58 The School of Heroes, Bronx, New York
The Mission of PS 58-The School of Heroes, Bronx, New York, is to empower students to strive for excellence and achieve their fullest potential. The ALL RISE Mini-Grant will provide funding for “Building Future Heroes Through Baseball after-school program that integrates leadership development with baseball fundamentals. It would also assist in the purchasing of bats, gloves, balls and bases. This would give students an opportunity to use baseball equipment or learn fundamentals of the game. They would learn about the sport and would spark creativity and interest in our growing diverse community. Staff members would be trained to engage and develop leadership curriculum, and also provide coaching sessions to engage students in learning experiences.
All funds donated for the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Mini-Grant program go directly to children and youth programs in San Joaquin County, California; Fresno County, California; and Bronx County, New York, that support their ongoing citizenship and education development.
