Pacific Returns to NorPac Play Against UC Davis

After facing arguably its toughest road test of the year, Pacific returns home to the Golden State for a crucial NorPac conference game Friday against UC Davis at Maxwell Family Field, in Berkeley, Calif.

The 3pm tilt will be an opportunity for the Tigers (3-10, 1-2 NorPac) to match the conference record of the Aggies, who come into the contest with a record of 4-8 (2-1, NorPac), including a victory over then-No. 6 Stanford. This is the first meeting of the season for the two teams, who last met in the NorPac conference tournament consolation round in 2012, a 5-2 victory for the Aggies.

Last weekend, Pacific took on Indiana and No. 18 Iowa on consecutive days, falling to the Hoosiers 4-1 and the Hawkeyes 7-2. Senior Emily Tregoning scored a pair of goals on penalty corners and freshman Kyleigh Morrison recorded her first career goal in the loss to Iowa. Tregoning holds the Tigers' lead in goals, points and shots. Ten different players have scored for the Orange and Black this season, including three true freshman.

Pacific will look to regroup as the focus begins to turn towards NorPac conference tournament seeding. California will host the Aggies on Sunday as Stanford will be playing a non-conference portion of their schedule.

UC Davis took on NorPac foes Stanford and California last weekend, falling at No. 13 Stanford, 5-0 and blanking California 2-0 at home in Davis, Calif. Danielle Koehne is the leading goal scorer for the Aggies with five on the year and Cloey LemMon holds the overall points lead with 11. NorPac West Freshman of the Week Agustina Singh leads the team in shots with 29. Danielle Herrington has seen the majority of time in goal for UC Davis, posting 52 saves and a 2.78 goals-against average on the year.

Following this Friday's game, Pacific will play its last non-conference contest of the season on Saturday, October 26th in Palo Alto, Calif. against No. 19 Michigan. That contest will start at 3pm.
